TRAINER
In 2011 the Patriots made history once again, advancing to a Super Regional for the first time in program history. DBU (42-20) won the Fort Worth Regional by knocking off a pair of nationally ranked opponents in #6 TCU and #14 Oklahoma before defeating Oral Roberts in the finals. The win propelled the Patriots to the Santa Clara Super Regional where they faced the California Golden Bears. While DBU dropped both games to Cal, 2011 served as a landmark season that put the nation on notice that the Patriots were quickly becoming a powerhouse on the diamond.
Chris Haney earned three saves over Oklahoma, TCU, Jason Krizan set a national record with 39 and Oral Roberts in the Fort Worth Regional. doubles in 2011.
