CHEERLEADING
The 2023-2024 season for the North Allegheny varsity cheerleading team ended with some of the best finishes in program history. The team took home fourth overall and third in the large three division
at the WPIAL in early January, earning them a bid to PIAA states in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Day one at states, the team performed a near perfect routine and advanced directly into finals. Hitting a clean zero deduction routine in the final round earned the Tigers a third place finish at states.
The national high school cheerleading championship held in Orlando, Florida was another amazing weekend for the Tigers. Our game day routine had a great performance in prelims. The traditional competitive routine hit a perfect routine on day one, advancing them to finals. The team hit another beautifully executed routine in the final round, finishing at sixth place, the best in program history.
