WRESTLING
The 2022-2023 North Allegheny boys’ wrestling team had a phenomenal start to the season. They finished in 13th place in the Cumberland Valley Kickoff Classic before having a
3-1 showing at the
Trinity Duals and a fifth place finish at the Kiski Area Duals. The Tigers also put up a third
place showing at the Allegheny County Tournament.
North Allegheny finished the regular season dual schedule with a 10-4 record and qualified for the WPIAL playoffs where they fell to Plum in the first round.
Individually, North Allegheny had three wrestlers win gold at the Section 3-AAA individual tournament. At the WPIAL Individual Championships the Tigers had two wrestlers finish in fourth place which was good enough to get them to the PIAA Individual tourna- ment.
