WPIAL Runner-ups
The 2024 season saw the North Allegheny boys volleyball team get to their 7th consecutive WPIAL Championship match where they fell to Shaler for the second straight season.
The regular season was more of the same for the Tigers as they only dropped sets to Shaler and Seneca Valley all season long.
North Allegheny got to at least the semifinals in all five invita- tionals they participated in, including getting to the championship at the Central York Invitational where they finished runner-up and the Derry Invitational where they won the tournament.
The Tigers took care of business in the first two rounds of the WPIAL playoffs sweeping Canon-McMillan in the quarterfinals and Butler in the semifinals.
The WPIAL Championship was a rematch of the 2023 final with a similar outcome as once again Shaler was able to top North Allegheny.
The Tigers season would come to an end in the first round of the state playoffs where they fell to Warwick in four sets.
