The NA Bocce team was broken into two teams for the 2023-2024 season. NA Black was composed of the following players: Ben Trues- dell, Chase Tunstall, Anne Melle, Aidan Mulkearns, Brady Mensch, Max Scherrer, Sawyer Gibson, and Lauren Snavely. Brian Wach, Talia Murphy, DJ Boncek, Bex Codner, Kaitlyn Zeman, Emily Karlovits, Natalie Rak, and Syler Corona played on North Allegheny 2.
NA Black went 3-7. They tied their first three matches against Shaler (1-1), Deer Lakes (1-1), and Hampton (1-1) which took them into the Golden Frame. The Golden Frame is a bonus frame when the matches end with a score of 2-2. It does not count in the standings since players from either team can be chosen. Unfortunately, NA did not walk away with bragging rights from these matches. NA Black lost the final two matches (0-2) against Pine Richland and North Hills.
NA Gold went 4-6. They tied their first four matches against Shaler (1-1), Deer Lakes (1-1), Hampton (1-1), and Pine Richland (1-1). NA Gold lost their final match of the season (0-2) against North Hills.
Both teams had a great and inclusive season!
