WPIAL Runner-Up | PIAA Quarterfinalist
The North Allegheny boys lacrosse team got back to the WPIAL Championship for the first time since the 2021 season, the last time they won the title, but ultimately fell to Mt. Lebanon.
It was a very slow start to the season for the Tigers as they dropped their first 5 contests. North Allegheny would beat St. Edward (OH) on April 5 and the season started to turn around from there. North Allegheny would win 12 of the next 13 games to finish the regu- lar season and went into the playoffs with a lot of momentum.
The Tigers would eliminate Pine-Richland in the WPIAL Quarterfinals and get revenge on Shady Side Academy in the WPIAL Semifinals before falling to Mt. Lebanon in the WPIAL Championship game.
North Allegheny would bounce back in the state first round beating Wilson 9-8 in an overtime thriller before bowing out to Radnor in the state quarterfinals.
