WPIAL Quarterfinalists
The 2023-2024 North Allegheny wrestling team returned to the playoffs and got a step further than they did in the 2022-2023 season, reaching the WPIAL Quarterfinals.
After dropping the opener to Cathedral Prep, the Tigers would win 12 of their next 13 dual matches before falling to Latrobe late in the season. During the 12-1 run the Tigers also had a 10th place finish at the Bethlehem Holiday Classic.
North Allegheny went into the playoffs on a 4-match winning streak with a 4th place finish at the Allegheny County Tournament.
The Tigers were dominant in the WPIAL First Round defeating Baldwin 55- 15 before falling to Bethel Park in the WPIAL Quarterfinals by a score of 26-19.
Individually, Aidan Buggey made a great run in the individual state tourna- ment ending up in 6th place. Bradyn McConneha finished in 4th place at the WPIAL Individual Championships getting him a spot in the state tournament where he would go 2-2.
