CHEERLEADING
The North Allegheny competitive cheer team competed at the WPIAL championships at Hempfield High School in early January.
The Tigers competed in the Large 3A division and hit a zero-deduction routine. As a result, North Allegheny placed fourth in the Large 3A division and fifth overall, earning a bid to the PIAA championships at the end of January in Hershey, PA.
The North Allegheny competitive cheer squad took fifth place in late January at the PIAA Com- petitive Spirit Championships.
The Tigers advanced directly to the finals after hitting a zero-deduction routine on day one. With a final team score of 83.85, the Tigers gar- nered fifth place in the Large Class 3A Division.
