2022 WPIAL Finalists
It was another successful campaign for the North Allegheny field hockey team in 2022 as the Tigers reached the WPIAL championship game for a second consecutive season.
After falling to State College in the opening game of the season, the Lady Tigers went 8-0-1 in their next nine games.
The Lady Tigers finished the regular season with a 12-4-1 record and entered the WPIAL playoffs as the No. 2 seed.
North Allegheny won their WPIAL Semifinal game over Peters Township, 1-0, on a second quarter goal from Isla Abrams and a great performance from goalie Jordan Ashbaugh to secure the shoutout.
The Tigers fell to Pine-Richland, 3-0, in the WPIAL Championship game in a hard-fought contest against the reigning champions.
