WPIAL Semifinalists
The North Allegheny field hockey team once again found themselves in the WPIAL Semifinals in 2024. Since 2004, North Allegheny field hockey has been in the WPIAL Semifinals every season.
It was an inconsistent start to the season with the Tigers starting off 2-2. The roughest stretch of the season came from September 13-19 when NA would drop 3 straight matches, 2 to out-of-state opponents along with Mt. Lebanon. North Allegheny would bounce back to win 4 of their next 5 matches to keep themselves in the playoff pictures.
The Tigers were the #3 seed heading into the WPIAL playoffs and fell in a close one to #2 Mt. Lebanon in the WPIAL Semifinals. One
of the highlights of the season came on September 26 when goalie and Northwestern commit Kayla Joyce made her 500th career save against Pine-Richland.
