WPIAL Quarterfinalists
The 2024 North Allegheny girls tennis team kept their domination in section play intact winning their 4th straight section title. The Tigers have won 30 straight section matches dating back to September 2020.
After dropping the first 2 matches of the season, NA would win their next 7 with 6 of them being 5-0 shutouts. North Allegheny would drop 2 more non-section matches to finish the regular season 11-4.
In the WPIAL playoffs, the Tigers made quick work of Latrobe defeating them 5-0 before falling to Shady Side Academy in the WPIAL Quarterfinals.
Individually, Mia Kaufman took 3rd place at Section Singles to qualify for WPI- AL Singles. In Section Doubles, Kaufman and Audrey Zheng finished in 3rd place to qualify for WPIAL Doubles. At WPIAL Doubles, Kaufman and Zheng pulled off a first round upset before falling in the quarterfinals.
