WPIAL & PIAA Champions
The 2024 North Allegheny boys golf teams turned in one of the greatest seasons in school history claiming their 2nd ever WPIAL Championship and 1st since 1971. The Tigers also claimed their 1st state championship in program history.
It was straight business for NA out of the gate winning their first 7 matches. The Tigers were tripped up by South Fayette, losing by 1 stroke in non-section play. The only other loss all season was a playoff loss to Butler in a playoff.
North Allegheny came in 2nd place in the WPIAL Team Semifinals but that was good enough to get to the WPIAL Team Championships for the 2nd straight season. In the WPIAL Team Championships, NA would shoot 3 shots better than South Fayette to claim gold.
In the state team championship, the Tigers shot 2-under par as a team and defeated South Fayette once again, this time by 4 strokes, to claim the state title.
Individually, Ravi Desai and Chris Hoffman each qualified for the PIAA Individual Championships with Desai finishing in 5th place and Hoffman taking home 16th.
