 ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE/TEAM TRAINERS
   Josh Raies is in his third season as an Assistant Athletic Performance Coach for the DBU Baseball team after spending two years as a Graduate Assistant for DBU Athletic Performance. Raies entered his full-time role in the spring of 2021 while finishing his graduate course work and achieving a Master of Science in Kinesiology in May.
In his work with Patriot Baseball, Raies oversees all elements of physical development and preparation for the program including strength development, speed and power development, and diet and nutrition. Josh has been tasked with
working alongside the coaching staff/training staff in order to deliver the most holistic and comprehensive environment to develop the athlete.
During his two years as a graduate assistant under Coach David Trevino, Raies trained multiple teams in the DBU Athletic Department including Men’s Soccer, Women’s Tennis, Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, Cross Country, Cheer and Stunt, Ice Hockey, and the Patriettes.
Prior to DBU, Raies was at LeTourneau University where he served as the Strength and Conditioning Intern for the Softball, Volleyball, Women’s Soccer, and Men’s and Women’s Golf teams during the spring semester of 2019. Raies oversaw all elements of Athletic Performance for these teams at that time and worked closely with the sport coaching staffs and athletic training staff. In the summer of 2018, Raies served as a Strength and Conditioning Intern for the University of Texas Permian Basin football team.
Raies played baseball for four years at LeTourneau University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science in May 2019. While there, Raies also served two years as Student Body President. Raies is currently certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NCSA-CSCS).
Raies lives in Dallas with his wife Alexis and is a member of Northway Church. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:32.
Hannah Davis serves as the Baseball Athletic Trainer at Dallas Baptist University. Davis came to DBU after several years of experience working baseball at Virginia Commonwealth University, the Chicago Cubs, Rice University, Crawford ISD, Baylor University, the University of South Carolina, and the Tri-City Chili Peppers. She also served as the athletic trainer for McLennan Community College Baseball under head coach Mitch Thompson, where they went on a 26-game winning streak and won the 2021 National Championship title at the Juco College World Series.
Hannah is an active member in the National Athletic Trainers’ Association and has certifications in C-PS: Champion Performance Therapy and Training Specialist, Structure and Function Dry Needling, and Owens Recovery Science Blood Flow Restriction. She is also a certified instructor for the American Red Cross in First Aid/CPR/AED, and CPR/ AED for Professional Rescuers. Her professional interests include thoracic realignment, IAP cueing, scapular control, and various means of performance
enhancement.
Davis received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from the University of South Carolina, and her Master of Science in Human Health and Performance from Baylor University. Hannah resides in Dallas, Texas, and attends Watermark Community Church.
