SWIMMING & DIVING
Boys & Girls WPIAL Champions, Girls PIAA Champions
It was another very successful season for the North Allegheny Swimming & Diving boys and girls teams as both teams once again won WPIAL Championships. The boys title was their 10th in the last 13 seasons while the girls title was their 16th in a row. The North Allegheny Girls Swimming & Diving team took home another PIAA state championship making it two in a row and 3 titles in the last 4 years while the boys finished in third place, which was their best finish since 2019.
At the state championship meet on the girls side, Natalie Sens won state gold in the 100-yard backstroke, Juliet Hood finished in second place in the diving portion of the event while Lola Malarky came in third in diving. The quartet of Evan Odg- den, Claire Bacu, Dani Hinkson and Greta Mott came in fourth place in the 400 free relay.
On the boys side, the relay team of Zachary Totin, William Gao, Gus Miller and Gus Lesinski came home with a fifth place finish in the 400 free relay, while Grant Regule had a 10th place finish in the 100 free.
