PIHL Finalists
The 2023-2024 North Allegheny Ice Hockey team returned to the PIHL Championship for the first time since the 2020-2021 season which was the last time they won the championship.
North Allegheny got off to a hot start winning 6 of their first 7 games, with the only loss com- ing to Pine-Richland in a narrow 5-4 defeat.
The Tigers went through a tough stretch from December 21 to January 11 where they lost three games in a row, two of them in overtime, but was able to bounce back to win 6 of the final 7 games to end the regular season.
In the PIHL playoffs North Allegheny defeated Central Catholic 3-1 in the quarterfinals, took down Seneca Valley in the semifinals before falling in a 3-2 thriller in the PIHL Championship to Pine-Richland.
