North Allegheny Scholar-Athlete Program
The Athletic Department recognizes three individual and two team scholar-athlete awards. We use the first nine-week grading period for fall sports, the second nine weeks for winter sports and the third nine weeks for spring sports.
Individual Awards
Unified Boosters Organization Scholar-Athlete Award
The Unified Booster Organization Award provides certificates that are given to our student-athletes and marching band members who earned a grade point average of 3.4 or better during their sports/activity season.
Athletic Director’s All Scholar-Athlete Team
The North Allegheny Athletic Department provides All Schol- ar-Athlete Award honors to student-athletes receiving a grade point average of 3.70 to 3.99 during their sports season.
Athletic Director’s All-Academic Award
Student-Athletes earning a 4.0 GPA or better during their sports season are granted special honors and distinction for outstand- ing academic achievement by the North Allegheny Athletic Department. Each honoree receives a scholar-athlete t-shirt and special recognition on the North Allegheny Athletics website.
Team Awards
Athletic Director’s All-Scholar Team Award
This award provides special recognition to those high school teams that have earned a total team GPA of 3.2 to 3.49 during their sports season.
Athletic Director’s All-Academic Team Award
This award provides special recognition to those teams that have earned a total team GPA of 3.5 or better during their sports season.

qualified for one of the two team awards.
All 32 Fall Athletic Teams (grades 7 – 12) qualified for the Scholar-Athlete Team Program with 29 of 32 teams earning All-Academic status.
