With more than 30 years of publishing experience in the competitive sports industry, both print and digital, I established BuildYourOwnNewsletters (BYON) in 2016 to help schools and organizations communicate more easily with their communities. Coaches, Athletic Directors, and Executive Directors had expressed their desire for a tool to develop and distribute communications, without requiring a lot of time and money. I transformed an in-house tool to an online service, providing a simple solution for digital communications. Our service is currently being used primarily by athletic teams, departments, conferences and professional organizations.
